Police seeking suspects in Tanger Outlet thefts (4 photos)

South Simcoe Police are currently investigating an organized shoplifting ring that conducted a series of thefts from retail outlets within the Tanger Outlet mall in the Town of Innisfil.

The investigation has revealed a group  of five (5) suspects were involved in stealing twenty (20) jackets worth $200 each on Saturday, Nov. 27, 2021. At approximately 2:30 p.m., two (2) males and a female were observed entering into a store followed a short time later by another male and female that were pushing a child's stroller. Once inside the store the group worked together to steal a large quantity of outerwear.

Police are appealing to the public for assistance in identifying the suspects.  

Retail thefts cost everyone.  

The South Simcoe Police have partnered with the Tanger Outlets and are working together to raise awareness of these types of crimes through training, technology and partnerships.  Anyone with information is asked to contact PC Jake McCann at 705 436 2141 or 905 775 3311.
