On Friday, July 15, at approximately 6:10 p.m., police were called to a report of a suspicious vehicle in the driveway of a home in the Town of Bradford West Gwillimbury.

As a result of an investigation, 34-year-old Kristopher Jessome of Huntsville was charged with operation while impaired and failure or refusal to comply with demand. His licence was suspended for 90 days and his vehicle impounded for seven days.

Drivers who refuse to comply with a demand for alcohol or drug testing face the same immediate roadside penalties as drivers who take the test(s) and fail — immediate 90-day licence suspension and seven-day vehicle impoundment. Impaired driving is 100 per cent preventable. Make the right choice for your safety and the safety of others by always driving sober.
