At approximately 8:30 a.m. Thursday morning Bradford Fire and Emergency Services, Simcoe County Paramedics and South Simcoe Police were called to a serious collision at the intersection of 5 Side Road and Line 9 in Bradford West Gwillimbury.
Two vehicles had collided in the intersection sending one rolling well into a farmer's field.
Emergency crews worked to extricate the driver of the BMW. He was transported to Southlake Hospital as a precaution.
The driver of the SUV was treated at the scene by paramedics. They were charged with Failure to Yield to Traffic.
5 Side Road remains temporarily closed north of Line 9 for vehicle removal and clean up.
