The South Simcoe Police Service will be participating in Ontario’s annual Crime Prevention Week, which runs from Nov. 6 to 12.

The Provincial Crime Prevention Week is supported by the Ontario Association of Chiefs of Police, the Ministry of the Solicitor General, and police services across Ontario.

The theme for Crime Prevention Week 2022 is "Safer. Stronger. Together." It emphasizes the role our residents can play in creating safer communities by working together with police to prevent crime.

Police will be providing crime prevention tips that can be used to help protect homes, vehicles, neighbourhoods, schools and places of business.

Community safety and well-being take hard work and collaboration. That’s why the South Simcoe Police Service is proud to partner with the Government of Ontario, local government and community leaders, residents and businesses to prevent crime throughout our communities during Crime Prevention Week and throughout the year.
