Two teenagers hospitalized after single-vehicle crash in Innisfil

The driver, 17, allegedly struck a light standard at a crosswalk and he's been charged with operating a motor vehicle without a permit

A teenager is facing two charges after the vehicle he was allegedly driving struck a light standard at a crosswalk on Jans Boulevard in Innisfil Oct. 30.

South Simcoe police, County of Simcoe paramedics and Innisfil Fire and Rescue personnel were dispatched following a report of a single-vehicle collision Monday around 6:30 p.m. The driver and passenger, both 17-year-old males, were transported to hospital with what were believed to be non-life-threatening injuries.

A South Simcoe spokesperson tells InnisfilToday the driver was charged with careless driving and operating a motor vehicle without a permit.
