A Bradford woman has been charged with a slew of offences following a brief foot pursuit with a South Simcoe Police Service officer on general patrol.

Police say the officer recognized the woman and was aware of an outstanding warrant for her arrest, according to a news release.

After she was taken into custody, police say officers seized two pairs of brass knuckles, a quantity of suspected cocaine and other drugs.

The accused was held for a bail hearing.

None of the allegations have been tested in court.
