Woman unable to charge her Tesla accused of assaulting police

BRADFORD - On Sunday, June 16, 2024 at approximately 3 p.m., police received multiple calls regarding an impaired female asking for help to charge her Tesla on private property. Upon police arrival, police observed a female sleeping inside the car and an open liquor container in the passenger seat. Officers were able to wake her up and noticed signs of impairment.

Officers placed the female under arrest for being intoxicated in a public place. During the course of the arrest, [it is alleged that] the female actively resisted and kicked officers multiple times.

A 39-year-old Bradford woman was charged with obstruct a peace officer, assault a peace officer and being intoxicated in a public place.
