Called home, after 82 years and 21 days of adventure, to be with his Lord and Saviour on Friday, February 25, 2022 at Roberta Place, Barrie.

Faithful leadership contributor to his community through the original Simcoe Ambulance Service, Emmanuel Barrie, Kempenfelt Kiwanis, Timothy Christian School and the Barrie Food Bank. Provider of impeccable customer service throughout a career that included Keith Wood Marketing, Keith Wood Motors and Georgian Chevrolet. Avid woodworker, antique hunter, and lover of people, ice cream and maple syrup. Beloved husband and best friend to Luana (nee Young) for 61 years. Loving father of Paul (Laurie), Janice Stone (Steve), Sean (Carla), Kev (Becky), and Joy Wilson (Steve). Cherished grandfather of Nathan, Milena, Melissa, Joshua, Eva, Amaya, Julian, Ariana, Zeke, Declan, and great grandfather to Eli and Everly. Dear brother to Joyce Jones (George). Predeceased by his parents Frank and Maude Wood and brother Bill.

Friends and family will be received at LEGACY FUNERAL HOME 55 Cedar Point Drive, Barrie on Friday from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. and again at EMMANUEL BAPTIST CHURCH 374 Salem Road, Barrie on Saturday, March 5, 2022 from 1:00 – 2:15 p.m. followed by Keith’s Homegoing service at 2:30 p.m. For those not able to join the family in person, Keith’s service will be livestreamed by visiting https://youtu.be/gb178eKP22Q.

A spring interment will take place at Barrie Union Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Barrie Food Bank may made through the funeral home in person or by phone (705-728-8282).
