It is with profound sadness that the South Simcoe Police Service advises the public that the second officer shot in the line of duty has died of his injuries.
A media conference will be held at 1 p.m. today, Wednesday, Oct. 12, 2022 at the Innisfil Town Hall located at 2101 Innisfil Beach Road in Innisfil.
Chief John Van Dyke will read a prepared statement but will not be taking questions at this time.
