Shelley loved to be called Momma by her kids and many others as her house was open to any and everyone.
Shelley was born on December 28th, 1964 in Barrie, Ontario to Robert John (Jack) (D) & Evelyn Morrison (D)
Shelley survived her loving husband Ronald Buchanan and was a devoted and caring mother to Jason Buchanan (Tiffany Buchanan) and Dalice Peoples (Adam Peoples) where she raised them on Foster drive, in Barrie, Ontario.
Beloved Sister to Sharon Morrison, Candace Morrison, Cindy Morrison and Gord Morrison.
Proud Grandma of Sadie Peoples (D), Aubreys Buchanan (9), Paisley Peoples (8), Mayson Peoples (5), Henry Buchanan (5), River Peoples (1) and Blake-Lee Peoples (1).
Shelley could often be found baking in the kitchen with her grandkids, dancing to Elvis Presley or hosting family & friends over for BBQ’s.
She loved going to concerts and travelling with her husband and family. Listening to country music and her grandchildren playing out in the front or backyard.
Family will be receiving guests at Legacy Funeral Home 55 Cedar Point Drive, Barrie (Parking and entrance on Hwy. 400 side of building) on Friday from 4 - 7 p.m. and again on Saturday, December 23, 2023 from 10 a.m. until time of Funeral Service in the Chapel at 11 o'clock a.m.
