It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Patricia Cole on January 18, 2024 at the age of 87. Pat will be deeply missed by her sister Barbara Browning (Don), her many nieces, nephews, and extended family. Along with the family grieving her loss, are her many dear friends and nursing colleagues. She is predeceased by her parents Lavina and Harvey Cole, her siblings Iva, Norma, Hilda, Laurine, Edith, Graydon, Phyllis, Marion, and Lloyd. A dedicated and caring nurse, Pat graduated from RVH in 1958 and retired from the hospital, as a Head Nurse. She explored many avenues in her profession including emergency care, operating room techniques, Nursing education, and communicable diseases. An avid traveller, Pat also explored the world, visiting interesting and exotic locations. In accordance with her wishes, there will be a graveside service in the Spring. A date and time will be announced. If desired, donations to Hospice Simcoe would be greatly appreciated.
