Dwayne Edwin Francois, 1976-2023, passed into eternity on June 30, 2023 at Hospice Simcoe.
Husband to Hannah Francois. Father to Isaiah, Kya and Jahmai. Son to Esmond and Vilma (predeceased) Francois. Brother to Dave Francois. Son-in-law to Blair and Connie Gress. Brother-in-law to Steve and Jody Toombs. Uncle to Kaden, Jaxon and Kobe.
Dwayne graduated from Western University with a degree in Engineering, Heritage College and Seminary with a Master of Divinity degree and the Arrow Leadership Program. He spent most of his life serving as a pastor, spending time in leadership at Long Branch Baptist Church in Etobicoke ON, Summerside Community Church in London ON, Calvary Baptist Church in Oshawa ON, and most recently at Harvest Bible Chapel in Barrie ON. Dwayne’s love for his Lord and commitment to serving others in the name of Jesus Christ was wonderfully evident to those who met him, especially as he devoted most of his life to impacting teens and helping them grow in their spiritual relationships.
A funeral service will be held at Harvest Bible Chapel, 7 George Street, Barrie at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 3, 2023. A reception will follow. A private interment for the family will be held later.
