Our beloved sister, aunt and friend passed away on Friday, December 15, 2023.
Jacqueline (Jackie) is lovingly remembered by her mother, Myrtle Long; her sister Janice and brother-in-law Terry; her nephews, Aidan, Daelin, Thomas, and nieces, Tara and Shauna; her cousins, Paula and Sean, and many aunts, uncles and cousins in Ireland.
Jackie was predeceased by her father, Thomas Long and brother, Thomas Long.
Jackie will also be dearly missed by her coworkers and friends at the South Simcoe Police Services, who were like her second family.
Friends and family of Jackie are invited for light refreshments and a time of mingling at Adams Funeral Home (445 St. Vincent Street, Barrie) on Friday, December 29, 2023, from 2-4pm and 6-8pm. The South Simcoe Police will be conducting a Ceremonial Guard for Jackie during the visitation periods.
Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society towards breast cancer research would be greatly appreciated by Jackie’s family.
