It is with great sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Christopher “Chris” Paul Mooney who passed away peacefully in his home in Innisfil, Ontario on the 20th of November 2022, in his 52nd year.
Christopher is survived by his loving wife Lesley Mooney née Brace and his 2 wonderful children, Nicholas Mooney and Madison Mooney. Chris is lovingly remembered by his Mother, Donelda Mooney and Father, Paul Mooney (deceased) and his cherished sisters, Cathleen Pinkney and Cindy Gayle. Chris was a loving friend and brother-in-law to Mark Pinkney and Winston Gayle as well as to Lesley’s beloved sisters Nadene Patrick and Darlene Brace. Radiating a warm embodiment of laughter and light he is cherished as an esteemed Uncle to Tyler, Tristan, Travis and Jayeda Gayle; Laura Capelli née Patrick and Valerie Patrick; Benjamin and Julia Brace; and Sheighlyn and Kaleigh Pinkney.
His cheerful attitude and kind company is missed by his coworkers and friends at Loblaws Companies Ltd. in which he was cherished as a member of their Supply Chain Data Analytics team. Also not to be unnoticed are the many accolades he acquired during his lifetime: talented Registered Massage Therapist, vigilant volunteer in Men's Ministries and other areas, and community high school volunteer as a volleyball coach. Being an avid fisherman, handyman, golfer, and outdoor enthusiast, he was a mentor and friend to many and a diligent and intelligent mind that will be greatly missed.
A visitation will be held at Innisfil Funeral Home on Sunday November 27th, 2022, from 6:00-9:00 pm with a funeral service being held at Innisfil Community Church on Monday November 28th, 2022, at 11:00am.
