Passed away surrounded by the love of her family on Sunday, November 5th, 2023 at Providence Care Hospital, days shy of her 94th birthday.
Predeceased by her beloved husband Arthur. Dear mother of Karen Smith (Dave), Diane Munro, the late John Munro, the late Linda Mair ( late Douglas). She will always be in the hearts of her 11 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren. Betty will be remembered by her nieces Lisa Martin and Jennifer Martin, as well as many extended family members.
The family would like to thank all the staff at Aspira Rosewood Retirement Living, Kingston Health Sciences Centre, and Providence Care Hospital for all of their care over the last few months.
Private arrangements have been entrusted in Wartman Funeral Home, Kingston. Betty is to be interred with her family at Resthaven Cemetery, Scarborough.
For those who knew Betty, they will remember that she always had a furry companion.. or two.. or sometimes even more by her side, because of her love for animals the family is asking for donations in memory of Betty to go to the Kingston Humane Society.
