YOUNG, James B. 'Jim', 'Gyraffe'

After a seven year battle with cancer, Jim passed away peacefully at Hospice Simcoe, Barrie on Friday, November 4, 2022 with his wife Judi by his side at the age of 60. Dear brother to Robert. Predeceased by his parents Gordon and Loretta, and sister Carolyn. Jim, aka Gyraffe, will be forever loved and remembered by his many friends and colleagues who were like family. No funeral service will take place. A visitation to share stories and memories of Jim will be held at LEGACY FUNERAL HOME 55 Cedar Point Drive, Barrie (705-728-8282) on Thursday, November 10, 2022 from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. Please give yourself extra travel time as construction continues on Hwy 400 and Dunlop Street (exit 96B from Toronto).
